BASIC for Nurses is an internationally recognised Course for Critical Care Nurses.

The SSCCN is proud to be the leader in initiating this valuable course in Sri Lanka in June 2017.

The course has a very high demand in Sri Lanka and we hope to continue the program in the future so that the BASIC for Nurses Course will be an established program to train critical care nurses in Sri Lanka.

There is a strong focus on the practical needs of the novice ICU nurse, with theoretical aspects being limited to those issues that are directly relevant to an understanding of clinical practice.
